Our Story
Clover Retreats is the realisation of a shared dream.
After building and running the highly successful Chalet Savoie Faire and Chez Milo in the French Alps, Nikki and Hugh’s journey took a new turn six years ago when they discovered the unspoiled beauty of the Greek islands, Lemnos (also known as Limnos).
Captivated by the island’s charm, a seed was planted for a new adventure and they purchased the land where Clover Retreats now stands. This the hub where retreat attendees will gather for meals and other activities and is located just a three minute walk from the accomodation.
Drawing inspiration from their love of nature, food, culture, and adventure, they’ve poured their passion into every detail, transforming their vision into a sanctuary designed for peace and inspiration.

Unlike the busier Greek islands Lemnos presents the ability to truly escape the rush of everyday life, encouraging guests to really slow down, relax, recharge and appreciate the raw natural beauty that abounds.
Meet Nikki
The hostess with the mostest who has a huge heart and true talent when it comes to creative food and beauty filled spaces.
Nikki is an Aussie who has been living in France for over 30 years. With decades of experience running Chalet Savoie Faire in the French Alps, Nikki envisioned Clover Retreats as a place where people can unwind, learn, and connect through wellness, cooking, and experience nature in a coastal setting. Her focus on fresh, local ingredients and creating memorable guest experiences has provide the foundation for these seaside retreats.

Hugh is an Irishman with a background in professional cycling, leading cycling tours and building dreams.
Hugh brought this vision to life through his skill and dedication. Known for his talent in design and building, Hugh has played a pivotal role in creating the retreat’s physical and functional spaces. His work has ensured that the retreat embodied Nikki’s dream, a peaceful sanctuary that feels warm, inviting, and deeply connected to the beauty of Lemnos.
Hugh’s efforts extend beyond the construction; his ability to adapt and execute the finer details has helped transform the retreat into an idyllic blend of aesthetics and practicality.
